Systems must rely on idempotent APIs, background queue retries, and optimistic UI updates with deterministic rollbacks. 2. **Payment Provider Asynchrony**: Mobile Money gateways (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash) frequently process transactions asynchronously over several seconds or minutes. Hardening webhook verification and persistent state machines is paramount. 3. **Hardware Heterogeneity**: Applications must run smoothly on lower-tier Android handsets with limited RAM as gracefully as on flagship hardware. ### Strategic Architecture Decisions We advocate for strict separation of concerns: - **Type-Safe Full Stack**: TypeScript across the frontend, Next.js server layer, and Prisma database models prevents subtle runtime bugs. - **Relational Integrity**: Using PostgreSQL ensures strict transactional isolation for financial and legal dockets. - **Zero-Trust Security**: Validating every user input on the server, enforcing cryptographic webhook signatures, and segregating administrative permissions.
